Louise Kulbicki (b.1987) is an emerging British composer, based in London, whose music fuses traditional world and contemporary classical styles. Her music is often concerned with justice and contemporary social issues and is influenced by György Ligeti, Louis Andriessen, Unsuk Chin and Brazilian music including samba and tropicália. Louise recently graduated with distinction from the Postgraduate Diploma in Music Composition course at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance under Stephen Montague and Errollyn Wallen, supported by the Trinity College London Scholarship.
